What can we say! This past year with all of you has been so amazing and so grand we didn’t want to go. ❤️

We have had some major issues with the landlord continuing to increase the pricing as well as our AC being broken and being quoted a 25,000 fix fee wasn’t going to be able to happen.

We consider you all our family and wanted to be completely transparent about the situation. This has been a dream for years but our location isn’t able to reach full potential so we have had to shut down. Things are hard right now.

Between covid and everything going on right now in our world we just want everyone to be safe and happy for many years to come even when we are gone. ❣️🐶

We truly wanted to make an impact on peoples lives and their pets and we did! We received awards, learned so much about the people around here and seen all kinds of personalities good and bad! That’s life.

We will be possibly opening up in a different area to expand our clientele! We are looking possibly for Weeki Wachee! If you need anything else please feel free to contact Bethany at 412-645-1307!

Hello everyone we just want to take the time out and say thank you so much and we are so blessed for our community! ❣️

We are now introducing officially our pup card! We are planning on laminating these like official credit cards as well as offering birthday rewards for our pet family! 🥰 Our pup cards will be available next week and here’s how to use them.

You take the card and everytime you come in after a groom, we cut out a hole and after 6 (documented) grooms. We give you $10 off a total groom!

We have been contemplating a few changes around our shop as well as rules to implement because of recently we have been bombarded with really rude people who are still having problems following guidelines at our shop. 😞

We will make a post very soon explaining some things that you can do as a community to help us, as well as hearing feedback from you guys!! I hope everyone has a pawsome weekend and stay safe Louisiana ❤️

Here at Salon Dé Pooch we won’t bleach your dogs a**s or shave their a**s with a medical blade... 🤣😅

Your dogs health is our main priority when being groomed and then your satisfaction is our second! 💕

When you want a sanitary on a dog we will clean as much of the animals behind as we possibly can to make sure they don’t end up with matted hair, as well as leftover p**p!

But the issue isn’t in how much hair we cut off, it’s about the dye that is used in your dogs food. Dog food (depending on what brands.) will cause harsh coloring and dye on their mouths as well as their re**ums.

You can minimize this by cleaning around their mouth after they eat and drink as well as cleaning their re**ums after they use the bathroom! 😁

It’s very apparent lately we have been seeing people with horrible attitudes who have been causing a lot of wear and tear for us as well as telling us what blades to use! We will NOT use a medical blade on a dogs re**um that could possibly cause tearing or lacerations that lead to infections.

For the best of us both if you are having a bad day please don’t tell us how to do our job! We will start to refuse service to customers whether previous or not under the circumstances you are requesting a service that can possibly harm your pet. Have a wonderful day! 😅❤️

We aren’t recognized by the Florida doodle club for nothing! If you have a doodle you definitely want Bethany to groom them!

Trooper is one of our favorites here, he loves being here so much he hops right in the bath for us. That’s what I call a Happy pup! 🐶💕

Hello everyone! We wanted to formally wish everyone a Happy 4th in advance. We are so appreciative of our wonderful community!

We wanted to take this time to address some new things.

Firstly we are now adding a cancellation fee. Since we don’t do walk-ins and over the past few days we have been extremely booked and have had a few no-shows. It will be an equal fee for all dogs for $50.

Secondly we would like to talk about the safety of our shop as well as their pets. We have had a few minor issues when it comes to any pet getting hurt in our shop. We would like to be completely transparent. We allow our pups to play with each other, and take aggressive dogs on our days off to ensure all pups are safe!

We get puppies in all the time and puppies love to play, but the problem is puppies play rough because they don’t know how to be gentle. We try to accommodate to every pup and seniors because we care about all wellbeing’s of each furry baby. We have noticed a few complaints about puppies being out and allowed to play. We just want it to be as out and open as possible!

There have been plenty of times where keeping your dog in a crate poses more of a danger to hurting itself then it does if your pup was out and freely able to roam. Of course you can request if you would like to dog to stay in a crate for that stay.

Sometimes we have 13+ dogs which is a huge amount in one day for one person. But we just want to make it very clear that our salon does not like to use crates unless needed! We love our dogs being out and stimulated and playing with other dogs (being comfortable of course.)

Third! We have seen lots of amazing reviews and to address the bad reviews we have noticed two out of our three bad reviews came from people who have never came to our shop. We would like to let people know that google and this page is our main way of receiving reviews. We had over 26 amazing 4.5+ reviews on Yelp, and had them taken away by computer generated AI.

We just wanted to take this time to thank our community and let them know!
