2020 AQHA Bay Roan Gelding

Standing 14.3 hands, Miles is gentle with a quiet demeanor and the style to get you noticed wherever you take him. He’s seen every job on the ranch, been used in feedlots, and is the same horse in town. He’s green to rope on, but has been introduced to pasture doctoring and branding. Miles stands tied, loads, is good to shoe, crosses water, and will confidently ride out alone or in a group.

He’s been to one schooling show and placed in multiple western classes. This young horse favors arena work and with consistency and time, he could excel in the Ranch Riding and Versatility show world.

With the long summer days and warm breezes, we tend to find ourselves spending every waking hour outside with our animals. I keep thinking I’ll get this page up to date on the current c**t starts and halterbreaks, but instead I’ve been spending that downtime working on my art.

This piece is titled “Sarge” after Austin’s gelding who truly knows how to take charge and do a job with style.

Tilly joined us at the end of last summer and has had a few rides in the 6 months since. I work to make these horses as solid and safe as possible. This is her first ride back with me and I stepped on a completely different horse than the first time she came in. I’m stoked that she is so close to where we had left off!
