Update on my handspun icelandic sweater, almost there. I'm on the turtle neck area now !!!! Honestly though I'm very nervous about the fit, I held the yarn really tight while connecting the sleeves to the yoke in color work and it looks small with zero stretch ! So much work from dirty fleeces to this !!! My fingers are crossed ☺️

What's new on the farm ? Baby chicks 😍 most are about week and half old but we had 4 stragglers hatch ou t 2 days ago lol. These are a barnyard mix of Rhode island, bantams, jersey and Australorp. First bunch done and the second bunch will start hatching in about a week..... I love baby farm animals 😍🥰🥰

Here is what I'm doing in my fiber shop ! Surprise project...... Icelandic and Suffolk wool all hand washed, dryed, dyed, carded, spun, plied and knit by myself. This is a very timely project but will last forever and give me practice on my color work knitting. Lol 🤣😆🤣 keep watching for the finished sweater. 😊😊😊

Bonus of the week ☺️😃☺️ a pair of medium hand dyed and knit wool mittens, I will definitely be making more of these 🥰❤️🥰

Soooo it's been awhile since I posted anything from the farm. Just making a few adjustments ! I wanted to share this beautiful rug made from the wool, alpaca and llama that I washed, dyed, carded spun and plied then crocheted to make this durable and warm rug. Not quite finished yet and I will be posting the finished rug. I love being crafty !!!! Lol 🤣😆🤣😂
