Doggie Shop & Services By Alexis Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I love working with animals. They are my top priority in life.

New Oxford, Hanover, South Hanover, East Berlin, Gettysburg, Dover, Dillsburg, Littlestown and surrounding areas I have had a lot of experience in the last few years working with animals. I worked at a Doggy Day Care where I learned a lot about dog language and dog behavior. I was able to take that experi

ence to my next job working in a boarding and grooming facility. I took care of boarding dogs and cats, as well as bathed and groomed them. I was then able to take that experience to my next job as a Vet Tech. I learned a lot about the medical side of animals, how to give medications, do nail trims, express a**l glands, and much more. I am now able to take all of my experience and open my own business to take care of animals in your home, do mini in-house grooming, as well as other basic animal needs without leaving your home. It is no need to leave your home, and stress yourself and your pet out when I offer many of the basic needs and I can come to you!

I will not be accepting anymore overnight care. If I recieve any cancellations I will post.

🦃I will be working on Thanksgiving if any care is needed! $10 surcharge to the price of your normal drop-in charge. Please reach out if you need any Thanksgiving Day care!

🚨🐶This year is going fast!! 🚨🐱
With 2025 wrapping up soon, and 2026 approaching I am beginning to think of new ideas going into my fourth full year of pet sitting.

It is crazy to think I started full time pet sitting in October of 2022. I am grateful for each and every one of my clients and all of the new fur friends I’ve met along the way.

If any of my clients have any ideas, comments or concerns please reach out to me as I brainstorm for the new year.

✍️If you are using the services of a professional pet-sitting or dog-walking business, your pet-care provider will complete a pet profile sheet for your pet(s) to ensure they have a complete picture of your pet’s behavior and health.

This ensures they can provide top-notch care but also helps keep your pet—and the pet sitter—safe.

📍So it’s important to be honest. If your pet has any physical conditions or issues, has ever bitten or scratched anyone, or has had difficulties with past pet-care providers, share this information with your pet sitter. Withholding information can put both your pet and the pet sitter at risk.

We know you want the best care for your pet—and that can only happen if you are honest about your pet’s health and behavior and transparent about any concerns.
