New location for 2026!! Creole Poodle Club of New Orleans will have TWO specialties at the Lagniappe Classic with Louisiana Kennel Club and Metairie Kennel Club at the Alario Center!! Mark your calendars!!

For the first time in over 20 years the American Kennel Club’ will return to the Alario Center!

The LAGNIAPPE CLASSIC DOG SHOW comes to the center July 30th-August 2nd. This a huge show and it’s presented by the Metairie Kennel Club & the Louisiana Kennel Club.

Congratulations to Daniel Chavez and Cathy Gauche on Magic’s great weekend. Magic won our Specialty on Friday under Judge Sharon Svoboda and on Saturday under Judge Tina Yuhl!! Magic also won Reserve Best in Show at the All Breed Show today!! Congratulations to our club member Jean Urban of Patriot Poodles for her success at PCA. Patriot's Scrabble, 2025 PCA Novice Class, 2nd Place, his first official Show! He won Apricot Red Poodle Club 2025 Best in Match and Best Over all Matches on Monday. Scrabble was shown by handler Sarah Perchick. 🎉🐩

Congratulations to our members Claude Martin, Keith Burbank and Wallace Davis on their amazing win at PCA!! Talulah went winners bitch, best standard puppy, and best puppy in show from the 9-12 puppy class with her handler Kay Peiser. To add a little more excitement, she finished her championship and will now be known as CH Firenze Lavender Haze at Beaumac ( Pending AKC).
