Federal City Community Garden We are a non-profit community garden helping to promote healthy eating through local produce. The Federal City Community Garden would speak to all these needs.

Goal: There is a growing demand for locally produced organic food - born of diverse factors that include concerns about food prices and safety; a desire for stronger community ties; and an interest in healthy, sustainable, environmentally aware community-based agriculture. Federal City has a tremendous opportunity to establish a liveable community for the people of New Orleans.

I'm pleased to announce we have received a seed donation from Sow True Seed worth nearly $120! The donation includes both warm and cool season open-pollinated, high quality seed. If you're looking to sow seeds soon, please let me know what you're looking for so I can get these to you (available to FCCG growers only). Volunteer for Seed Sorting at Parkway Partners this week. Here's the info:

Monday through Friday, October 31- November 4

Shifts for sorting will be 10-12 am and 1-3 pm, feel free to stay all day
