With us catching up on some much needed rest, it is time to shine light on these girls, and the work they have put in this past weekend keeping everyone safe Tortuga Music Festival

My sweet Briggz, you have been an absolute rockstar in every way with our constant schedule and travel to help keep many communities safe; close to home and farther from. There will never be truly enough to show my love and appreciation for anyone to understand.

Our sweet, Molly. You have absolutely blown this past weekend out of the water and are more than ready to take care of your future handler and the community you will protect! It has been an honor to be apart of your journey alongside Snout Scouts

Sniffing out the best coffee in town! ☕️🐾

Seriously…if you have not been to Culture Coffee TX, you are missing out on the best local spot in town!
As a handler, it’s a must to keep all of my detection crew ready for the day and that includes me! Culture Coffee has been my go to morning fuel spot; from having breakfast with our coffee to lunch with a refresher!

A fun, productive day here at The Working Canine!

We had the privilege of introducing three new members to our family 🙌🏻

- Bre: the cutest little puppy who is utilizing Littles Play Group to learn impulse control around other dogs; how to properly communicate; and to have a fun outlet for all of her young energy 🥰

- Percy: he’s an older pup who’s mum is wanting to ensure he has the proper communication and social skills to welcome foster pups into their home 🤗
*biggest lie in dog training is “an old dog can’t learn new tricks” *

- Kizzy: the sweetest girl who loves everyone and definitely shows it! Kiz is joining us for Play Groups with the big dogs learning that you can still love everyone with a sprinkle of boundaries ✨

Overall, everyone had a great first day with us, and we hope they had a restful evening 💤

To end our day and ensure our working crew had a fun evening, we did some fun ball throws on the levee 🎾
A simple, fun game where our girls got to workout with running up and down the levee while searching for their balls in the uncut grass.

Long overdue post…🫣

I have received many questions and many more compliments on the girls’ emergency cards from

I couldn’t be happier with the product and the service. The cards are durable, clearly printed, and include all the essential information needed in case of an emergency – my dog’s name, my contact details, any medical conditions, and my vet’s information.

My favorite part is the attention to detail; the customization. From the photos to the information I felt was necessary on the front of the cards. The process was smooth and very simple.

Whether you travel or always have your pup with you, I highly recommend having an emergency card on hand with all your dog’s needed information!

Bauer was found as a stray in the Everglades. He was emaciated, sick with pneumonia, and full of hook worms. As he got healthier, he also got more rambunctious. Labeled as “too much”, Bauer was quickly placed on the euthanasia list.

Today, Bauer shows great promise as a working K9, who will go on to serve his community as a highly trained asset. 🐾🧬

Hello everyone! 👋

We are officially back from a week load of learning how to be better in all aspects from training, operational deployments, and skills as a handler not only for our personal crew but for our clients as well! *some insight: we were gone for a week to work and train with multiple trainers and teams around the country at the Police K9 conference in Las Vegas*

The schedule for this week is a bit light after our travels. What we have going on is scheduling consultations for new clients who are looking to join our family (please reach out with a time that works for you), and established clients that are wanting to get back on schedule with giving their pups the much needed outlet that was paused last week!

As our trip comes to an end, there are so many words to describe our trip. We learned so much and took a book load of notes to bring back home and implement into our training and operations as well as reflect on myself as a handler, and how I can improve myself for my growing crew! And everyone loved Queen B! She was used as a demo dog for a few classes and was in perfect condition to show us what to do in the case of bloat to safely get her to the vet in time 🙌🏻

Cannot forget to mention, that I had a spectacular birthday with one of my great friends and amazing entrepreneur herself, Jackie Jolie! I got to spend the day doing what I love with Briggz and got to endeavor with a great birthday dinner 😋
Thank you again Jackie for making my birthday great!

For those who asks, Briggz does not take any medication for our flights. We have a routine that works for us, and as always, when flying or traveling with your pup, have a routine that works for you and your pup to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone!

Worked dogs are happy dogs!

Today, we took the pleasure of taking Boudreaux on a field trip with the crew to his first Fast CAT event hosted by the Acadiana Kennel Club. It’s safe to say, our boy LOVED it!!

Boudreaux brought home his first qualifying run of 11 seconds bringing in 26 points towards his first title 🙌🏻

He then came with us on a late lunch date and was the best poser to show his mom how much fun he was having!

As always, thank you Gina for always trusting me with Boudreaux! He has surely come a long way and is living his best life! 💕
