The Zen Way is a state of being. Being in the now. I bring this to you in a form of instructions that breaks down the science and understanding of dogs. I take training to an entire new level! ping you shop for the best stuff, we work hands on together to build a long lasting bond with you, the family, and your new pet. There are several training packages available.


• Basic Obedience is 4 one hour sessions. You will learn to build listening skills, attention skills, impulse control, leash walking, recall and off leash training and much more. These classes typically run once a week for one hour each session. $450

• Advanced training is 4 one hour sessions learning how to put all your skills together. Master the art of loose leash walking and heel, supervised separation, and much more for $450. In advanced training you will also have the option to meet in dog approved public places!

I had a session earlier today with a family that has multiple dogs. One who’s guarding because she feels she has to, one unsure and following her lead, one who just exists and is pretty neutral, and one who is OBSESSED with her toys. It was our second session and I had them in the back yard to do our greet the same way we did last time. I came in and right away we had dogs barking to alert and one not sure what to do. I asked to put some leashes on and we got to explaining about how we need to provide clear and consistent communication while also advocating for each dog. The dogs finally stopped barking and I sat down. The dog obsessed with her toy kept coming over to me to play. I did for a few tugs and tosses but then took the toy and kept it under my arm. Showing her handlers how to teach her that the toy only gets activated when the human makes it fun. Otherwise, we stay just want the dog to be neutral when not playing. While that was happening and I was explaining about play and “windows” ect, the dog who thinks she needs to guard and have some stranger danger, walked by and gave me an air sniff. I explained that most humans would have extended out a hand to try and get the dog to come closer. But that is not what she wanted. She just wanted to check me out. It was my job to ignore her and let her do so. It was the same situation for the dog who’s fearful and unsure. He also likes to follow what the other dog does so it’s important I allow both dogs to just exist and check me out how they want to check me out. By the end of class all dogs were laying down just enjoying the shade. That’s all we really wanted. A lot was learned all while not really doing much at all. I didn’t snap any pics so I had AI help me out today.

She likes to come to this spot and watch over the land. We have rules though so that she doesn’t end up chasing cars or other things that may trigger her. But this is her window to do this and it’s my job to shut that window. Took a lot of work to come out here to do nothing for her to literally at least look like she’s doing nothing…. 👀

I have another last minute added on session today! My client lives at a campground and today they have an event happening. I’m stopping up to help her with her dog while the evnent is happening. An excitable bernadoodle! Will we be at the event? Or at a distance at which we can see him succeed? Let’s see where his brain is… I’m excited for this one.
