it’s always exciting when you can get a win at your home town fair with your friends & family there supporting you. this was our son cole’s first ever win picture he was in attendance for . thanks eric miller for the good drive and thanks for the canfield fair for the unique poker chips they gave out this season that featured a picture of our horse tan man for setting the current canfield track record last season

friday night at northfield was a good night for the stable with 3 winners including a full sweep of the 2 year old filly pace races in stakes action. congrats to our partners and all involved !

Friday night (July 26) was a big night for Justin Irvine at the Summit County Fair held at MGM Northfield Park. The 22-year-old driver won six on the 20-race card.

One of Irvine's victories came aboard Rock The Hill in the fastest mile of the night. The 3-year-old c**t pacer by Racing Hill tripped the wire in 1:52.2. Jessica Roegner trains and co-owns Rock The Hill alongside Paul O'Neil.

Chris Lems won four as a driver, Ryan Stahl scored a triple, and Daren Harvey had two. On the training side, Scott Cox and Cory Deyermand each won three while Jason McGinnis scored a double.

We had 2 fillies with their first lifetime starts last night in the 2 fastest division of the $20,000 Buckeye Stallion Series.
•Lily Grace Hill made a big move coming out of the third turn landing her in a dead heat for second.

•Big Bad Beach Bunny found herself 3 wide coming off of the last turn with plenty of pace left late getting up for second.

Last night at Scioto Downs our star 2 year old pacing c**t BILLION (Downbytheseaside x Western Drag) made his career debut from outside post 7 in the first leg of the Ohio Sire Stakes. After stalking in last the entire mile, he closed hard with a blazing last quarter of 27- and picked off a few horses to earn a 5th place check. A 102k yearling purchase from the Lexington Sale and a full brother to the great Gulf Shores, we are hopeful this will be a start to a great stakes career. Congrats to owners Dave and Misty Kapp on their first start and earnings in the lucrative Ohio Sire Stakes program.

Sparrow Hanover didn’t let the 7 hole discourage him last night getting a perfect trip at the hands of Aaron Merriman. Sparrow’s new lifetime mark of 1:50.3 not only happened in his first start with us, it was also owner David Kapp’s birthday!
