Weโ€™re back from our retreat and now Iโ€™m getting caught up! Just a few reminders!

๐ŸŽ„ Iโ€™m booked for all of December, and January is booked until the last week โ€” and that week is almost full too! If I get openings, I will let those who are on the wait-list know!

๐ŸŽ„ If you have to reschedule, no worries! Just understand Iโ€™m working a lot less and not taking on many grooms going into 2026, so if I already have my weeks booked out (especially Saturday appointments), itโ€™s not personal that I canโ€™t rebook you! I do understand that my new schedule will be very inconvenient and I truly apologize for that inconvenience! ๐Ÿ˜ญ Again, itโ€™s not personal โค๏ธ

๐ŸŽ„ I will be planning to take off Feb 20thโ€“March 31st. Zeth and I have been given an opportunity to go to Africa with our church and itโ€™s something we donโ€™t want to pass up! Lord willing, we can come up with the funds to go! With that being said, tips will now be going towards our mission / church dedication trip! Tips are NEVER expected, but if you feel led to tip or pay via Venmo or CashApp from now until Feb, you can just put โ€œAfricaโ€ in the memo section!

๐Ÿ˜โœจ Addressing the Little โ€œElephant in the Roomโ€ About Groom Photos! โœจ๐Ÿ˜

With the holiday rush in full swing, itโ€™s currently just me holding down the fort in the salon making sure every single pup gets the care they deserve before Christmas. ๐ŸŽ„โœ‚๏ธ

Because of that, I havenโ€™t been able to snag post-groom pictures of every pet right now. I promise itโ€™s not because I donโ€™t want to itโ€™s simply because I chose not to rearrange or shorten anyoneโ€™s appointment times just to squeeze photos in. Keeping everyone on schedule means everyone gets in before the holidays without added stress. โค๏ธ

I will absolutely do my best to grab Christmas photos where I can, but my priority at the moment is making sure all your babies are groomed, safe, and feeling fabulous for the season. ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿพ

Next year, with me scaling down and focusing on fewer pets, Iโ€™ll have more time to pour into the fun extras including all those adorable post-groom photos you all love so much! ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ’–

This morning took a very unexpected turn for Whisky, without going into detail his vet and I both comfortably discussed with his condition and age the most humane thing for him would be putting him to sleep. My husband asked, why is it still so hard? (We have had to put two others down since being together). I think because they donโ€™t have a voice of their own to say itโ€™s time and you have to make that call for them sometimes itโ€™s not easy to pick life or death for a loved pet, and sometimes the signs are not always so blunt and it can be so heartbreaking to make that call but knowing deep down IF they could tell you the pain and discomfort they hide oh so well we could be less selfish to keep them around for us because we arenโ€™t ready to let THEM go.

Whisky has a great story, though it lasted 2 years itโ€™s 2 years he may not have gotten if we didnโ€™t feel a tug to take him in and rehabilitate. Being deaf wasnโ€™t keeping him down, and his playful energy was adorable to watch. He was the MOST well behaved, gentle, silly, loyal, and oh so good with my boys, husky EVER. As a dog groomer and somebody who used to work in a vet clinic, I could tell you that I promised myself that a husky is the one breed that I would absolutely never own in my entire life for many reasons, but Iโ€™m so glad that Whisky did come into our lives and that we could love them for this long. Our (Vet) and staff are literally so precious to us and so incredibly caring and thoughtful in so many ways and this is our first experience with them having to put a pet to sleep and the amount of love and genuine care they have is something that will keep us with them for as long as we have dogs.๏ฟผ

Though today was his last he will always be loved and remembered by all those who loved him โค๏ธ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฆด
