What a useful dog-walking report should tell you

A photo is lovely. A useful update also tells you what your dog did, how they handled the outing, and whether anything needs your attention.

What to look for in a useful dog-walking update: GPS context, real photos, specific observations, changes to the plan, and clear care notes.

Our new Tom’s Dogs bandanas are here! There’s something nice about seeing the whole crew in matching gear. It makes the pack look like a team.

The bright orange has a practical purpose, too: helping the dogs stand out against the leaves and brush, especially during hunting season.

For our night hikes, the reflective strips catch the light and make the dogs easier to see after dark. We already use headlamps and choose safe routes, and these add another layer of visibility.

Each one has our pack-hiker logo and my phone number on the front. I’m looking forward to seeing the crew wearing them, though I doubt they’ll stay this clean for long!
