🐴 PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING! 💥

Meet Annie, one of our personal horses who was started and trained right here at BC Performance Horses LLC!

At just 4 years old, Annie continues to show us exactly what a good foundation and consistent training can accomplish!

This video was taken while riding around before a big show and some barrel exhibitions. THIS is how you want your horse to be! Quiet, collected, responsive, and willing. Being able to have this kind of control, ask for a stop, and then turn around and go make a barrel run is what it’s all about!

A lot of you only get to see the horses that come through our program for 30, 60, or 90 days. You don’t always get to see what we’re capable of doing with one when we have the opportunity to keep it, put the time into it, and take its training even further.

Well, the proof is in the pudding, and Annie is a perfect example! 👏

We don’t just want horses that can perform. We want horses that are broke, confident, versatile, and willing to do whatever job is asked of them.

A horse should be able to go from standing quietly and listening to its rider to giving its all in the arena, without losing that foundation of control and respect.

Good training doesn’t happen overnight, but a solid foundation makes all the difference!

We’re beyond proud of the horse Annie has become, and she continues to prove that our program works!

🐴 TOP HAND COWGIRL CHALLENGE – CANNON FALLS, MN! 🤠❤️

Boy oh boy, where do we even begin?! What an incredible experience at the Top Hand Cowgirl Challenge in Cannon Falls, Minnesota!

Bree took two of our personal horses that she started herself, Annie and Rex, and let us tell you, they did NOTHING but impress us! These two horses are truly one of a kind, and watching them go out there, give their all, and show just how far they’ve come was something special. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing all those hours in the saddle and hard work pay off! ❤️

We also couldn’t be more proud of our boarder Emersyn and her horse Jenga! This was Emersyn’s first BIG show, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park, bringing home 3RD OVERALL IN THE YOUTH DIVISION! 🏆👏

It just goes to show what determination, dedication, and countless hours of hard work can accomplish. Watching her confidence grow and seeing everything come together was truly amazing. She’s already looking forward to coming back next year, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!

We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped put on such an incredible show! And an especially big thank you to Breck Kruger with Kruger Performance Horses! Breck is truly one of the kindest, most gentle people you’ll meet. The welcoming, encouraging, and positive atmosphere created for every rider and horse is something you don’t find everywhere. Giving people a place to show their horses, learn, grow, and build confidence means more than words can say. ❤️

If you’ve ever thought about trying the Top Hand Cowgirl Challenge but haven’t taken the leap yet, DO IT! We 10/10 recommend this event! Whether you’re just starting out or have been riding for years, it’s an experience you won’t regret!

At the end of the day, it’s not just about placings, ribbons, or winning. It’s about the horses, the friendships, the lessons learned, and the memories made along the way.

With all that being said, we are beyond proud of our horses, but even MORE proud of the riders who put their hearts into them. ❤️🐴

Here’s to hard work, good horses, great people, and many more adventures ahead!

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from BC Performance Horses! 🇺🇸

Labor Day is a good reminder of just how much work goes into doing what we love. Around here, there really isn’t much of an “off day” when you have horses. Feeding, cleaning stalls, riding, training, hauling, doctoring, and everything in between — it’s a 365-day-a-year job. 🐴

We’re incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work with so many great horses and even better people. We’re proud of the progress our horses and clients have made and excited for everything still to come!

So today, while everyone enjoys a little extra time off, we’ll be doing what we love — taking care of horses and putting in the work. 💪🏼

From our family to yours, Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸
