Jim Potter Stables was well represented March 29, 2025, at the Mid-Ohio Walking Horse Association Banquet for 2024 High Point Awards. The barn captured High Points spanning multiple divisions including 12 Champion titles.

During the meeting, Wendy Kaufman re-capped a presentation from TWHBEA that honored Mag Ranft as the TWHBEA 2024 Pleasure Horse Ambassador....a distinguished award presented to Mag in December 2024 down in Tennessee....for her decades of work as the backbone of the Pleasure Horse division of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Mag received a standing ovation from MOWHA members in honor of this award.

It was an enjoyable evening of good folk getting together over good food and drink to celebrate the past year successes. Congratulations Everyone !!

From NWHA News March 2025 Edition.

Congratulations to Owners, and Trainer Jim Potter on 23 National Walking Horse Association 2024 High Point Awards, including 11 Grand Championships awarded at the NWHA Banquet in Nashville, TN on January 18, 2025. JPS hard work and dedication was evident with all the Grand Champion, Reserve and multiple other High Point Awards spanning multiple divisions….which made for a busy and enjoyable evening at the Potter table. Jim Potter also received a "thank you" from NWHA as the outgoing President of many years.

Ozone Alert topped the evening with 3 Grand Champion High Points in SSH Lite Shod, SSH Open Shod (8th year in a row !!) and Style Racking along with Reserve Grand in the PLS division for owner Marianne Springer. Dominating the Lite Shod division was Mischief Managed, owned by Mag Ranft, taking 3 Grand Champion High Points for O/T, English and Western. In the Country Pleasure division, owner Megan Jenkins had another great year with We Don't Talk About Bruno, taking 2 Grand Champion High Point honors along with a Reserve Grand Champion High point. Whoopi's Promise Angel, a multi-year grand champion, once again took home Grand Champion honors in All Day Pleasure O/T for owner Wendy Kaufman. Taking the Grand Champion High Point again this year in Plantation Western was Rowdy Reward for owners Tina Donaugh and Nancy Eakins. Back in the ring for 2024, Extra Classic captured the Plantation 3-Gait Grand Champion High Point for owner Mag Ranft.
