Congratulations to Owners and Trainer Jim Potter on 18 National Walking Horse Association 2025 High Point Awards, including 9 Grand Championships awarded at the NWHA Banquet in Nashville, TN on January 17, 2026. Hard work and dedication throughout 2025 was evident with all the Grand Champion, Reserve and other High Point Awards spanning multiple divisions.

Ozone Alert, owned by Marianne Springer, topped the evening with 5 Grand Champion High Points for SSH Open Shod (9th year in a row!!) along with repeats in SSH Lite Shod, Pleasure Racking, Style Racking, and Country Pleasure Racking, and third place Overall Rail Horse. In the Lite Shod division, Mischief Managed owned by Mag Ranft, had a repeat capture of 2 Grand Champion High Points for English and Western, and took Reserve in O/T. Taking the Grand Champion High Point in Plantation Western for the third year in a row, was Rowdy Reward for owner Tina Donaugh and Nancy Eakins, and also took home the Reserve in English 2 gait. Customer Wendy Kaufman graciously volunteered as one of the award presenters for the evening. Another successful show season in 2025 for JPS. Congrats Everyone !!

Congrats to trainer Jim Potter and JPS Customers on capturing 9 Walking Horse Report High Point awards for 2025 including 2 Grand Champion and 4 Reserve Champion honors. Ozone Alert, owned by Marianne Springer, captured the Grand Champion High Point in SSH Open Shod for the 8th time. Rowdy Reward, owned by Tina Donaugh walked away with the Grand Champion honor in Western Plantation/Park Pleasure for the third year in a row. Multiple other very nice placings. Congrats Everyone !!

Jim Potter Stables wrapped up the 2025 show season at the Mid-Ohio Walking Horse Association Fall Round-Up show October 10-11 at Champions Center in Springfield, OH. Nice fall weather at a very nice all indoor facility that included an exhibitor dinner on Friday. Customers at JPS belong to the Mid-Ohio Walking Horse Association, so this show had an added "home" show meaning. Mag Ranft, the association president, was extra busy not only with showing, but also with multiple other pre and post-show responsibilities. Mag Ranft and Marianne Springer provided all the fall colored plants and decorations for a beautiful center ring, with setup done by Mag Ranft and Wendy Kaufman. The JPS string did great across multiple divisions all weekend with every horse making a trip to center ring blue. The 6-horse string captured 7 Championship titles along with 14 blues in the prelims...a wonderful way to end to the 2025 show season. Congrats to Everyone !!
