Perry County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center of Ohio Dog Shelter for Perry County Ohio. We help reunite lost dogs with their families and help those that don't have a family yet! We also enforce Ohio's dog laws.

Unfortunately, we are not able to take cats!

Thank you to everyone helping us get supplies and volunteering their time here at the shelter! We want to make sure that people who need help reach out to us, so spread the word! We are offering help for any animal in need, not just cats and dogs. Livestock, reptiles, hamsters, whatever animal you can think of. If we don't currently have the supplies needed, we will look for resources to get them. The best way for us to know how to help you is to call 740-342-3795. Volunteers are answering the phone and returning messages. We will be open this Sunday and Monday too 9-5.

Thank you so much for all of the donations coming in! Right now we are in need of medium size outdoor dog houses, or any size usable outdoor shelters. Please contact the shelter or 740-342-1141 if you need us to arrange pickup. You can also bring them to the shelter. We also have supplies available for those in need. Thank you!

We are currently working with emergency response crews to get care for animals affected by the recent floods. If you are aware of an animal in need or need resources please contact 740-342-1141. If you would like to make a donation of animal related items please bring them to the shelter at 1650 Commerce Dr, New Lexington, and leave them next to the picnic table if no one is available. Some items needed are canned cat and dog food, dry dog and cat food, bleach, and paper towels. We are responding to calls as soon as we are able. Thank you everyone.
