Hey everyone! Do you recognize this dog? She was found on the 5400 block of N. Courthouse Rd. She is very sweet and gentle. The finder is holding onto her for now but we want to find her owner before she has to come to the shelter!

Owner found!

This sweet girl showed up on a neighbors back porch today. Located on the east end of New Kent Hwy near Cooks Mill Road. She has on a purple collar but no ID. The finder is taking great care of her and hanging onto her for now. We are searching for her owner. If you recognize her, call us at 804-966-9500.

Stray dog found!

Female beagle mix found at the intersection of Lakeshore and Jackson in Woodhaven Shores yesterday afternoon. No chip or tag on her collar.

This cat was picked up at S Courthouse road. Just past the railroad tracks before you enter Charles City County. He was hit by a car and has been taken to an emergency vet. We are looking for a possible owner for him. If you recognize this cat, call us at 804-966-9500.

🚔INFORMATION NEEDED🚔

This female dog was turned into our shelter today by a Charles City Deputy. The Deputy was told by a finder of the dog that this dog was seen being dropped off at the BP at the intersection of Pocahontas Trail and Courthouse Road. The finder claims a black male driving an older model, square body, black Tahoe with chrome rims dropped the dog off in this area at approximately 6:00PM yesterday. The finder claims the vehicle had a Virginia plate but didn’t get the number. If you were in the area at this time and witnessed anything, please contact us at 804-966-9500. We will be investigating these claims to figure out this dog’s story.

***Old River Rd. / New Kent Highway***

Do you recognize this dog? He was found by a hunter who was collecting his dogs near Rick’s Deli by N. Courthouse Rd. This dog has no collar or chip but is sweet.
