She may not have come from a castle, but she’s ready to find her forever throne! 💛

Princess Penny came into Sable Kennel after being found going through garbage with another dog, just trying to survive. Sadly, her owners never came to get her. But that’s not the end of her story — it’s the beginning of a much better one. 🐶✨

Penny is a quiet, gentle soul who’s already won our hearts. She may be a little shy at first, but she leans in for love like a true sweetheart. While we’re still getting to know her, one thing’s clear: she’s an affectionate love bug who just wants a kind human to call her own. ❤️

🐾❄️ Meet Frisco – 7 month old Shepherd/Husky mix ❄️🐾

Frisco has a personality as sweet as his face! With his playful spirit, gentle nature, and silly puppy charm, Frisco is sure to bring a ton of love and laughter into your life.

He’s already off to a great start — neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. Frisco is friendly with both kids and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a fun, active family.

🐶 Frisco walks well on a leash (especially for a pup!), and he’s doing great with potty training — he definitely knows what to do when you take him outside. He’s still young, so he’ll need continued consistency and structure, but he’s already showing how smart and eager to please he is.

😻🐾 Say hello to Helena, a delightful 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a stunning, shiny grey coat and a heart as warm as her purrs. 💕

Helena is currently enjoying life in free roam and gets along wonderfully with other cats – the purr-fect match for any feline-friendly home! 🐱 She has been with us for 4.5 months and we have no idea why. She is the total package- Loves human attention, enjoys cat friends, affectionate, fun - the list goes on and on!

🐕🐈The "Fur-ever Mine" Fund was established to cover the costs of medical care for the cats and dogs admitted to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, a no-kill animal shelter in New Kensington. Although some animals arrive at the shelter in good health, many others have medical problems that need to be addressed before they can be adopted into their forever homes.
Severe skin problems, broken bones, diabetes, traumatic eye injuries, tumors, painful infected teeth and bladder stones are just a few of the issues pets have been presented with. 💘 Meet Valentine — the Sweetheart Who’s Looking for His Forever Love 💘

Valentine came to us on Valentine’s Day, and he’s been living up to his name ever since. This calm, affectionate boy is ready to be someone’s forever Valentine — could it be you?

Valentine is a 4 year old quiet happy boy. The type of cat who prefers naps in a cozy cat tree and gentle head scratches. He’s a little shy at first, but once you start petting him, he absolutely melts and will follow you around like your new best friend. He’ll even stretch up on your legs for more love. ❤️

He has the gentlest soul and LOVES other cats — even the grumpy ones! He’ll sweetly rub up against them, and if they don’t love him back, he simply shrugs it off. Valentine doesn’t hold grudges — he just keeps being his kind, soft-hearted self.
