Our Story
Andy and Nicole are the dynamic duo when it comes to working on the farm. With Nicole heading the equine side of the business and Andy being an engineer by day and farm manager by nightโฆ these two have the expertise, drive, desire, and integrity to succeed at reaching your objectives and dreams.
Andy is a born and raised native to Western Pennsylvania and a graduate of Youngstown State University in Ohio where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His experience and education have transitioned over into the farm maintenance and management portion of the business and continue to help keep things running efficiently and smoothly.
Growing up in Connecticut allowed Nicole to apprentice with some wonderfully gifted equestrian trainers. She spent her formative years working and showing for Karen Baldwin of Baldwin Stables, and also Pat and Mary Trowbridge of Trowbridgeโs Ltd. She attended Pace University in New York where she obtained a degree in Psychology before relocating to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to train with Debbie Reid at Keepsake Arabians for owner, Faye Sampson. Fast forward nine years and Nicole now trains and manages Ghost Pines Farm. Now that the new farm has reached its completion, the training horses and babies along with Andy, Nicole, their son Jackson and Doberman, Amelia have switched locations and open for business.
