Iberia Market Garden This a socially-minded private venture in New Iberia that aims to create healthy food access and spread joy through gardening.

We sell to local restuarants, have a volunteer work-veggie exchange, and have a seasonal 8-week CSA subscription. Iberia Market Garden, an urban food farm focused on pesticide-free, bio-dynamic and space intensive food growing practices in New Iberia. Our initial project Iberia a community Garden was funded by a grant from Iberia Parish Foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana

and the Fund for Gulf Communities, in partnership with Acadiana Works, Inc. and administered by the Iberia Development Foundation. Expansion of this project is made possible by a "Challenge for a Healthier Louisiana" grant from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation.

These green, bitter fruits are used in traditional medicine for centuries and believe to have several health benefits, including blood, sugar, control, weight management, antioxidant, immune system, booster, and heart health, and cancer prevention.
