30 CAT SPAY/NEUTER

BFF Spay Neuter Project is helping low-income families get their cats spayed/neutered at a deeply reduced cost, thanks to the support of Humane Society of Louisiana.

Through this program, qualifying households can have their cat spayed or neutered for $30.

The services will be provided by Acadiana Spay Neuter.

To qualify, proof of government assistance is required. Examples of proof include:
• SNAP
• SSI
• Medicaid

It's that time of the year again! We are gearing up for multiple Mini Clinic events this summer. Our first event alone will host over 100 kids! All of these children will be learning how to be responsible pet parents. They will learn about spay and neuter, heartworm disease, and vaccines. So many future animal advocates. So many little minds learning how to be the next generation of great pet parents!
This means that we need plush pets, adoption certificates, and name badges. If you feel inclined to help with this mission, we have shared a link to our amazon wishlist below. Sweet baby Gumbeaux was recently adopted from Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center and came in today for his booster vaccines. BIG thanks to his new family for choosing adoption and for getting him the care he needs to ensure he stays healthy!

Fancy came in after her adoption from Iberia Parish Rabies & Animal Control for a free spa day and exam through our Showered with Love program with Acadiana Pet Spa! Everyone on the team fell head over heels for this sweet hunk of love.

Fancy would like everyone to know that there are lots of great pets just like her in our local shelters waiting for your love.

HUGE THANK YOU to Fancy's new family! Your decision to adopt has saved her life and opened up space for our shelter to help another dog in need. We can't wait to see Fancy flourish in her new life!
