Let’s do some basic microchip myth-busting 😸

No, microchips do not jeopardize your privacy. The information you provide to the microchip registry will only be used to contact you in the event that your pet is found and their microchip is scanned.

No, the microchip is not a GPS device and cannot track your animal if they get lost. But, it’s the best way for us to contact you if they are stolen or found by someone else!

No, placing the microchip is not a difficult procedure! The chip is placed using a slightly larger needle than you would see for a typical vaccination, and no surgery or anesthesia is required.

Accidents happen and pets can go missing, and microchips are the first thing we check to reunite animals with their families!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!! 💗
We were contacted about this little girl about a month ago but we didn’t know she was pregnant at the time! We named her Sunflower and she delivered 3 healthy kittens today!
She has a head tilt and we are still trying to get answers for that but her the tilt has improved since we rescued her! We are praying it will continue to improve now that she has good nutrition and Vet care.
Mom and babies are doing just fine! Happy Mother’s Day sweet girl, you did an amazing job! 💗

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!!! We are thankful to be able to do what we do. We are thankful for so many things this year. We are MOST thankful for all our followers who have been with us since the start and all the folks who just found us! We appreciate everyone of YOU!!!

We are always trying to improve and learn. We are trying to do better, be better.

Here’s some good ole advice from Granny!! 💜

𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦:

Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.

Keep skunks, bankers, and politicians at a distance.

Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.

A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.

Words that soak into your ears are whispered, not yelled.

The best sermons are lived, not preached.

If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll find the time to do it twice.

Don't corner something that is meaner than you.

Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

It don’t take a very big person to carry a grudge.

You cannot unsay a cruel word.

Every path has a few puddles.

When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.

Don't be banging your shin on a stool that's not in the way.

Borrowing trouble from the future doesn't deplete the supply.

Most of the stuff people worry about ain’t never gonna happen anyway.

Don’t judge folks by their relatives.

Silence is sometimes the best answer.

Don‘t interfere with somethin’ that ain’t botherin' you none.

Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin’.

Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.

The biggest troublemaker you’ll ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every mornin’.

Always drink upstream from the herd.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin’ it back in.

If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s dog around.

Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll enjoy it a second time.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

Most times, it just gets down to common sense.

“I'm not sure if you're aware, but our country is in an absolute crisis with pets right now. There are way too many and not enough homes. The euthanasia rate is higher than ever, the adoption rate is way down, the donations to rescues are at an all time low, and rescues, shelters and people in animal welfare are beyond beat down right now.
We need everyone and I mean everyone, to do their part and keep their pets, adopt pets, help strays in need by providing them food, water, shelter, donate to rescues & shelters, and do whatever you have to do for the poor, defenseless, voiceless, animals who need all of us, every single day.”
