So I told my buddy, Beau, that we were going to try to make the Hound Walking and Mini Stirrup Cup on Saturday. He said, "OH boy! Is that when we get to show up covered in actual poo?" No, Beau. We don't show up covered in poo. Beau:"Challenge accepted!". So, we had a bath after a 10 hour shift tonight.

Oh my heart! Rhyah and her daughter, Bryden (named in memory of my dad). You can still see the stamp Gigi had on her daughter and granddaughter. These two mares are simply amazing! Had trouble getting pictures because if I got too close to the fence they would stop eating and come over for kisses and scratches. The absolute sweetest! So happy to be out after 2 days of bad weather.

Sunny winter day after rain = hanging out with your doggy friends while you wander loose around the farm. 27 looks great on you, Beau! Cannot believe we have been a "horsie couple " for 24 yrs. You are my very best friend and a wonderful teacher!

Rhyah HHF (Rotspon x Dormello) had a very nice inspection this year in spite of some anxiety about having her first foal off the farm for the first time. This resulted in some stall digging in carolina red clay that turned her tail pink and her legs, and her filly's legs, pink! In spite of all that, she earned a respectable score of 7.33, is in the main mare book for AHS and is premium eligible. Her first filly, Bryden HHF (Bon Coeur x Rotspon) earned a top filly designation in a field of very nice foals. So proud of both of these special mares!

So happy to announce the birth of Rhyah's first foal! Rhyah (Rotspon x Dormello) delivered a healthy liver chestnut filly over night! Momma and baby are doing well! Welcome Bryden HHF (Bon Coeur x Rotspon)!

Rhyah (Rotspon x Dormello/Donnerhall) 320 days. Maternity shots are hard to get when the soon to be mama likes licking me in the face and wants scratches on the reg! I am so beyond excited to see this foal by Bon Coeur!

My wonderful employee is going back to college. We will miss her so much as she has been a fixture here for 6 years. Good news, is that someone looking for a few extra hours a week might like to find a part time job here with us! Looking for help 3 to 4 days a week, 2 to 3 hours a day, feeding, turn in, turn out, stalls, waters, blanketing, paddocks, general barn chores (sweeping, cleaning, organizing, mowing, weeding, help owner with fence repairs). I am a full time nurse and did experience an increase in my hours due to the current climate. Experience required as this is an active breeding farm and we have 2 pregnant mares due in the spring.
