Due to life changes I’ve got some horses that are available. Priced very reasonable to move quickly!

Fancy is a bay 6yo papered TB mare 16.2hh. Track broke but never raced, been a broodmare the last couple years. Lightly restarted, quiet and sweet as can be. Definitely easy enough for a kid or ammy to bring along with a trainer. Rides in the arena or around the property. Goes great walk trot, picks up both leads just needs more consistent work. Clean legs and is sound barefoot. Short trot video available! 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

Jazz is a black 20ish year old grade QH mare just under 15hh. Don’t let her age fool you she has so many miles left in her! Wouldn’t recommend her for a beginner as she isn’t a total “dead head” ride, can be peppy but she doesn’t do anything bad! Great on the trails, not spooky, good solid feet all around easy keeper. Hasn’t been worked much in the arena. 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

HavenRidge Farms has a few spots open for boarding. Private farm in northern Macomb County, owner lives on site. Tribute feed twice daily and free choice hay. Stalls cleaned daily. Grass and dry lot turnout available. Large outdoor riding arena, and we are located off quiet dead end roads so it’s great for trail/road riding! Huge lockers available for boarders as well as a climate controlled tack room. Ideally a good place for retirement boarding or someone who is more of a leisure rider. We are in the process of building an indoor arena, but the deadline for that is tbd.

Pasture board - $325

We are not currently offering lessons at this time but we do have some horses available for on-site partial leases to experienced riders only. Horses are fun and safe rides! 🐴

Horses thrive with as much turnout as possible, not matter what the weather! Just because you’re cold, doesn’t mean they are 😁

What is wrong with this picture?
Answer: Nothing!

Each winter we get many calls from people concerned after seeing horses with snow on their backs. If you see snow building up on a horse’s back or rump, you are looking at proof that body heat is not escaping through the hair to melt the snow, and their coat is keeping them properly insulated. Also, the best way for a horse to stay warm is by eating! You can also see in this photo that the horse has access to a shelter, but is choosing to stay out in the snow and eat 🙂
