Part Time Animal Shelter & Animal Control Officer Employment Opportunity:

The Town of New Hartford Office of Animal Control is seeking to fill a part time position with someone interested in caring for sheltered animals at The Town of New Hartford Municipal Animal Shelter and assisting our Animal Control Officer with associated duties in Town.

🐾 Foster or Adopt Hank 🐾

Meet Hank — this handsome guy has already been through more than any dog should. Hank came into the shelter extremely emaciated, clearly having had a rough start, but despite everything he’s been through, he has remained incredibly sweet and trusting.

Hank is great with people and does well with other dogs, showing everyone he meets just how gentle and loving he is. He’s now getting the care, meals, and attention he deserves, and what he needs next is a place to continue healing — whether that’s a foster-to-adopt home or his forever family.

Hank deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter with someone willing to give him the chance he’s waited for.
