Some kids are born into sports; he was born into K9 training. Literally been around it since before he was born. At 18 years old, my Son Carlito Carlito Rojas he’s balancing college (Criminal Justice) with a lifelong passion for high-level dog training. The goal? Law Enforcement, K9 Handler, and ultimately running a department as Director, and of help his Dad Pay the bills 💵 Seeing him step onto the field, command that power, and read the dog during this hold & bark & grip work... the future of K9 is in good hands.

My personal opinion: The German Shepherd first and foremost as a working breed. From that perspective, any breeding program, whether show line or working line that fails to preserve sound temperament, stable nerves, trainability, and functional ability is moving away from what made the breed great in the first place.

My focus has always been on preserving the German Shepherd as a true working dog.

4-Week Advanced Puppy Development Program 🐾

Not all young dogs are created equal.

This outstanding just turned 12-month-old German Shepherd, bred by me at Jagermeister German Shepherds, recently completed his second 4-week advanced development program and continues to exceed expectations.

Sired by Kenzo Sennertal and out of FedEx Jagermeister, he is demonstrating the type of temperament, nerve, and trainability we strive to produce through our breeding program.

In this video, he is working off leash at a busy 7-Eleven, surrounded by real-life distractions, showing calm, self-reliant obedience and excellent environmental stability. This is the kind of training that matters—not just obedience on a training field, but reliability in everyday situations.

In addition to advanced obedience, he is actively progressing in his family protection dog development, building confidence, control, and clear-headed working ability.

One of the biggest advantages of owning a German Shepherd bred by me is the opportunity for continued development. By keeping our puppies within driving distance whenever possible, we can provide ongoing training throughout their lives, helping each of my offspring reach its full potential.

My goal is to provide families with exceptional genetics and the opportunity to develop their dog through a structured training program from puppyhood to maturity.

Your puppy goes home at 7 to 8 weeks of age, allowing the dog to bond with your family from the beginning. As the dog grows, owners have the option of participating in my age-specific residential training programs designed to guide the dog through critical developmental stages.

These programs are available at approximately:

5 months of age

9 months of age

13 months of age

17 months of age

This unique approach allows the dog to be raised by its family while receiving professional training throughout its development. The result is a dog that learns to live with its owners, build a relationship with them, and mature under consistent guidance.

Not every family participates in every phase of the program, and participation is always optional. However, many clients appreciate having a clear developmental path available as their dog matures.

I believe the best dogs are created through a combination of quality genetics and quality training. By breeding, evaluating, and training my own bloodlines, I am able to follow many of my dogs from birth through adulthood, helping each dog reach its full potential.
