Zion Hill Kennel is hiring for two different positions, with both part-time and full-time shifts available for each role. Candidates can start immediately.

Available Position Number 1: Daycare Attendants:
We are looking to add two daycare attendants to our team. This job includes taking care of our daycare dogs, monitoring them during daycare hours, helping exercise them at play, cleaning up after them while following sanitation protocols, following feeding instructions, and occasionally administering medications. This job is working on your feet for up to 8 hours and outside in all weather conditions.

- Hours: Monday – Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Flexibility and half-days are available fitting our needs of our kennel.
- Requirements: Must love working with dogs and have a basic knowledge of dog behavior. We are willing to train the right candidates.

Available Position Number 2: Kennel Team Member:
We are looking to add 1–2 kennel team members. This job includes, but is not limited to: answering phones; making boarding, daycare, and grooming reservations; helping care for all boarding dogs; assisting in daycare; and helping the entire kennel team with daily tasks such as cleaning, sanitation, feeding, and administering medications when needed.

- Hours: Full-time help would be ideal, and we would prefer someone who wants long-term employment and is looking to grow with our business. However, we are also willing to accept part-time hires for this position.
- Requirements: Attention to detail is huge. We set the standards of care for dogs at our facility very high and expect our team to help maintain those high standards daily. This position requires working outside for the majority of the day in all weather conditions and being on your feet.

Information for All Candidates:
The main hours we need to cover are Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Minimal, 2 hour shifts on the weekends. We can accommodate "mother’s hours" for part-time, half-day shifts of 8am to 1pm and/or 1pm to 6pm. A semi-flexible schedule can also be worked around another job, school, or other obligations.

- Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.
- Pay is $14-$16 based on experience with the potential for more for the right candidate.
- Please note that we do not have after-school hours available at this time.

If you need any boarding, grooming and/or daycare for August, give us a call now. Don’t wait. Once we are full we can not take any more clients.

Aly only has a few grooming appointments available for the entire month of August. It’s super important to rebook for your next grooming when you pick up your dog from their grooms. This guarantees your next appointment. You can even book your next 2, 3 or 4 appointments out so we have you in there. Especially around the holidays. Give us a call to set up your groomings. We are accepting new clients.

We are accepting new clients for our daycare program. Our daycare has space available for daily, weekly and drop in daycare. We only allow up to 20 dogs per day so once we are full, that’s it. Give us a call to set up your dog’s first evaluation day.

Boarding for the month of August is almost full. If you are planning to board your dog, get your reservation in now. Once you are positive about your dates you need, call us so we can take your reservation and hold your spot with your deposit. Don’t forget Labor Day is right around the corner!

Attention clients:

Please be careful and mindful when you come to the kennel. One of our ducks decided to lay and hatch out 14 chicks. Please keep your dogs on leash and away from the ducks (and geese). Do not approach the ducks or the babies. If they are in the front of the kennel, please call so the staff can move them safely. Do not try to do it yourself please.

We appreciate everyone’s help to keep these little ducks safe. Thank you!
