At Hancock County Animal Shelter, we are enthusiastic about partnering with Jefferson. We look forward to seeing the new outstanding developments!

It’s official! We signed the contract today! Tomorrow morning marks the very first day of our our journey! Jefferson County Humane Society takes over shelter operations at the Hancock County Animal Shelter as per our new partnership with Hancock County Commissioners! We are grateful to all of you for your kindness and support. Rescue has no borders! Together, we are making a difference! Make sure to follow our page because we will post updates.

Female Retriever
Found Near in Chester City Building

Does anyone Recognize Her.
She isn’t microchipped.
Dog Warden Picked her up, she is now at the
Hancock County Animal Shelter .
She is safe and sound.

Please bring proof of ownership if she is your girl
