Each year, about 40,000–50,000 children are brought to emergency rooms because they got into medicines that were left within reach, whether that be opioid medication or over the counter medications.

Below, there is a picture of a drug deactivation system and we have them at the health department- FOR FREE ‼️‼️

- can be used for prescription medication or over the counter medications
-able to be thrown in the garbage after used

What a day we had today!

We had a great turn out for our cancer awareness walk and we are very appreciative for those who donated for our walk!

Then we got to participate at the Trunk or Treat at Tomlinson Run Park! 🎃

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus), is a common respiratory virus and can cause those who get the virus very sick and may need hospitalized. Especially older adults and infants younger than 6 months of age.
