Yeah, yeah… I know. I look like I belong in a cat food commercial. Please try to stay focused.

The humans recently informed me that I was “a little scruffy” and “needed help grooming.” Rude. Personally, I prefer the term distinguished. George Clooney doesn’t explain himself, and neither do I.

Unfortunately, my aging hips make it a little harder to keep up with all this luxurious fur, so the humans decided I needed a “spa day.” There were brushes. Clippers. Personal violations. At one point, I considered filing a formal complaint.

Still, I suppose they did an acceptable job. I’m now cleaned up, looking sharp against my will, and back at Pet Supplies Plus waiting for someone to realize I should be spending my retirement years stretched across a heated blanket instead of living in a cat condo.

I may be an older gentleman, but I’ve still got plenty of love left to give — along with a few opinions, a lot of charm, and some truly magnificent whiskers. All I need now is a home worthy of my distinguished presence.

When our human lost her home and could no longer care for us, the shelter gave us a soft place to land and stay together. They even found out my sister was so grumpy because she had a horrible tooth infection. Once the vet took care of it she was so friendly again!

When my momma and littermates rejected me, the kind staff and fosters helped keep me alive! They advocated for me and taught me to eat on my own. Now I am growing and thriving!

🐱 Your vote today helps real animals, just like me.
The scared ones.
The neglected ones.
The seniors.
The puppies and kittens.
The animals who arrive needing medical care, patience, and a second chance.

We have made incredible progress together, but there is still so much work ahead. If you support the future of animal welfare in Hancock County, please make your voice heard today.

🗳️ Polls are open until 7:30 PM tonight.
