HEARTWARMING NEWS!!!!! Landon Davis is alive!!! This is a post from his Mom, Debbie Davis:

As you all know, Landon pulled out of his harness back in May and took off after some deer. He didn't come back! We were so heart broken. A few weeks later some remains were found back in the woods that were very decomposed and we got a call saying it was Landon. I couldn't make myself go look so I sent a neighbor. He said it was Landon but didn't tell me how bad the remains were. There are no words to describe our devastation. I had those remains cremated. Last night about 7:30 I was laying on the sofa with Bob and the phone rang. I didn't have on my glasses so I couldn't see who it was. I answered it and a female asked if I was Debbie Davis. I said yes and she said she had my dog. I told her my dog was dead and she informed me it was Landon. She said she had him since May and she could no longer live with the guilt. As you might imagine I almost fainted. I told her to bring him back and there would be no questions asked. I told her she did not need to come in, that she could leave him in the entrance and just ring by buzzer. And so..............that's what she did! I have no idea who she was or where she lives and I never even saw her. As I said, no questions asked. Our Precious Landon is back home safe and sound. I think we have just witnessed a miracle. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A lot of people have asked about coyotes. There are two reasons that we don't think that coyotes got Max and Sadie. A coyote may have gotten one 20 pound dachshund, but not likely to have killed two. Second reason is that the tracker dog ( ) would have picked up on this.

UPDATED 10/19/20 - We continue hear stories about dogs being reunited with their owners. Though there have been a couple of recent leads they did not result in any new information leading to our dogs.

Even 11 months later these precious weenies are still missing and still missed in New Castle, Virginia. Our family is heart broken. Like/share to keep following their story and help bring them home. We are confident they are out there somewhere and it just takes the right person to see this post! Thanks for all of the wonderful support near and far!

Our story,

Our dachshunds, Max & Sadie Frantz, slipped through a back door to chase deer on 11/13/19. They were tracked down to a main road where their trail disappeared. It is likely they were picked up and taken, possibly far from home.

Max is 25 pounds and neutered. Sadie is 20 pounds and spayed. They are eight year old litter mates. Their coats are deep reddish brown with some black mixed in.

The doxies' family is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to their safe return. No questions asked. We promise.
