In light of the fact that my go-to fabric store is closing, I’d like to ask you to say “no bandanna “ if you are just gonna take it off and throw it away! Some people don’t really like them and I hate to be wasteful! If you do like them, we are happy to put them on your pet!

This is Lily. She’s gonna be 4 in April. Her dad was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it’s not good. There have been lots of people coming and going in the house and poor Lily is terrified. Lily’s mom made the difficult decision to re-home her so she wouldn’t be scared all the time. She is fully vetted, comes with all the equipment ( automatic feeder, litter box, litter, food, etc). Her mom just wants her to be in a calm home so she’s not scared anymore. Text me at 937-845-1330 if you have interest in her. She’s a sweet girl.

This is always a difficult subject to approach but here we go!
Many people don’t realize that small businesses pay HUGE fees to banks and credit card processing companies in order to to accept credit/debit cards. So, what we are asking here is that you CONSIDER paying and/or tipping in cash in order to help keep prices down. This doesn’t only apply to my small business, it applies to all small businesses.

This is just a friendly reminder that our jobs here aren’t part time,paid by the hour jobs. Our livelihoods rely on customers showing up to their scheduled appointments as it’s based on the number of dogs groomed rather than the hours we work. When someone no call/ no shows, it takes a significant amount of income away from no less than three people. It also doesn’t leave us any room to work another customer into the schedule for the day to make up for it. We send reminders the day before, as a courtesy, for every scheduled dog. We’ve been nice enough to not charge fees for no call/no shows but that may have to change in the near future. This is a real job, not a hobby, and we, like in every other profession, rely on it to pay our bills and provide for our families. We understand things come up but please, if you know you will not be able to make your appointment , let us know in advance by call or text, rather than just not showing up.

PSA: you should be using flea prevention year round. ESPECIALLY if you take your dog to places like groomers, daycare, and boarding facilities. As a groomer, I can tell you that we don’t usually know if a dog has fleas until we get it in the tub. If it does, we have to use special products to kill them and then we get to spray down the kennel area and hope they didn’t get on anyone else. If your dog is treated with a good preventative medicine, it will be protected from those fleas!

Nail trims… we charge $10 for them. Due to an overwhelming number of walk-ins, we have had to start doing nail trims at noon! It just got to the point where we were unable to finish our grooming dogs in a decent amount of time because of having to stop and start repeatedly. I hope it’s not too inconvenient for anyone. We do them at noon every day we are here, including Saturdays! We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays ! 🐾
