This is just a friendly reminder that our jobs here aren’t part time,paid by the hour jobs. Our livelihoods rely on customers showing up to their scheduled appointments as it’s based on the number of dogs groomed rather than the hours we work. When someone no call/ no shows, it takes a significant amount of income away from no less than three people. It also doesn’t leave us any room to work another customer into the schedule for the day to make up for it. We send reminders the day before, as a courtesy, for every scheduled dog. We’ve been nice enough to not charge fees for no call/no shows but that may have to change in the near future. This is a real job, not a hobby, and we, like in every other profession, rely on it to pay our bills and provide for our families. We understand things come up but please, if you know you will not be able to make your appointment , let us know in advance by call or text, rather than just not showing up.
