Round of A-Paws Grooming Home based Dog Grooming in New Caney TX Hello! For those who do not know me personally, I figured I’d introduce myself/ give background on how I got here.

I started grooming in 2014 and did it full time throughout college. After college, when I got hired in my career field I did Saturdays only. A few years later I left corporate grooming and just did a few dogs here and there at home, as well as my personal pup Theodore- as I acquired some additional necessary equipment. It has been a hobby up until recently where I reached out to see what kind of i

nterest there would be. I was overwhelmed with the response and decided it was worth the struggle of turning it into a whole legitimate business. This grooming business doesn’t incorporate your typical hours as I still work a full time job (I do courseware development/training in the aviation industry). I don’t desire to leave my full time job. So that leaves some unusual appointment times! A couple evening appointments during the week and weekends. I also have a 2 year old little boy that I hate missing any time with - always have to carve out time for family �

I want to thank everyone for being understanding of the unconventional way this business is ran- and patient as I work through the kinks to find my balance each week. Because of my unconventional set up- I will only book larger dogs on the weekend due to time & just having an extra set of hands from my husband :). I also prefer to groom one dog in a family at a time but do have one kennel available if the two dogs don’t distract each other during their grooms :)

I look forward to meeting all the different pups and loving on them! ��

Sweet girl Lorelei made it safely into the world on Tuesday at 8:19am at 6lb 7oz 19 inches long.

As we approach Thanksgiving and all the Black Friday, cyber Monday sales, I wanted to remind everyone of giving Tuesday. On 12/3 (or sooner) I ask if you can, and feel drawn to it- if you could donate to MOHA or Mothers of Held Angels. This is a group out of Fulshear TX that has done so much in my grief journey. It’s been so pivotal for me to heal, as well as give back in the name of my Angel son, Sawyer. On top of my two jobs, I volunteer my time visiting mamas in the hospital who ask for someone who has been there, to sit with them in their pain. As well as take calls to dispatch other Angel mamas to do the same. MOHA is growing so fast, all the funds donated would help expand the reach to not only north Houston- which would allow me more healing opportunities, more hospitals to help more moms who unfortunately will one day experience the loss of a baby.

As we near baby girls arrival, I wanted to let yall know my plans for "maternity leave".
Ive never been pregnant longer then 37 weeks, so i have that as my close date tentatively. (Dec 15th- Feb1st) Since I dont know when we are having her, this is all subject to change. I am hoping to be back to work February first :) If not sooner- depending on how I am healing.

Please be Patient with me as we start having our re-books around this time frame :) I am trying to figure out a way to make sure no one is missed :)

So excited for an upgrade coming soon!
We have had the utility sink for our small- medium dogs, with stick on vinyl backsplash for about a year. With big dogs being bathed in our small guest bathroom tub. Not ideal, but it has worked. Over the last few weeks we’ve gotten the backsplash tiled, and now we have a legit grooming tub on the way. ❤️🙏🏻
It’s a tight space to work with, because of the attic ladder, so I am a little nervous on the space but on the bright side- all dogs will be bathed here now, also it raises and lowers so both myself and my very tall husband can bathe.
All in all I’m pretty excited! 😛
