A Guadalupe County nonprofit hopes to help snip the overpopulation of stray dogs with a low-cost service.

Seguin Snips Squad is a nonprofit that offers a low-cost spay-and-neuter program to county residents, said Lindsey Bunch, founder of the organization.

🍦 Happy National Ice Cream Day!

Summer in Texas calls for cool treats… and our pups deserve one too! 🐾

We’re sharing a simple frozen Peanut Butter Banana Pup Cup recipe that’s easy to make with just a few dog-friendly ingredients.

As with any new treat, introduce it gradually and check with your veterinarian if your dog has food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Hot weather doesn’t always mean your dog needs a shorter haircut. ☀️🐶

A healthy, well-maintained coat actually helps protect many dogs from the Texas sun. The best way to keep your pup comfortable is regular brushing to remove loose undercoat and prevent mats, along with keeping them cool, hydrated, and out of the midday heat.

If you’re not sure whether your dog’s coat should be trimmed shorter or simply de-shed, we’re always happy to help you choose what’s best for your pet.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give those pups an extra belly rub from us! ❤️🐾
