It is that time of year! It's time for the staff here at Clear Springs Veterinary to take some personal time to spend with family. We hope that all of you have the opportunity to do the same throughout the upcoming holiday season.

We will be closing Wednesday, November 26th at 4 pm and reopening on Tuesday, December 16th for our annual staff and family vacation period.

We will be open December 16th - December 24th for normal business days / hours. Please keep in mind our normal weekend days for the clinic are Sunday and Monday.

For Christmas, we will be closed December 25th - December 29th and for New Years we will be closed December 31st - January 1st. We will reopen January 2nd and resume our normal hours and schedule refreshed and ready to assist with your pet's needs.

Should your pets need any veterinary care while we are away we've listed several locations below that may be able to provide the assistance needed. We obviously hope that you don't need them, but best to be prepared.

We want to give everybody plenty of time to prepare for the 4th of July and fireworks. This year, the Fourth of July falls on a Friday. The clinic will be open for normal business hours Tuesday, July 1st and July 2nd and will be closed Thursday, July 3rd - Monday July, 7th. We will reopen for normal business hours Tuesday, July 8th. If you plan on going on vacation and your pet needs vaccines to board over the holiday, please plan accordingly. Our wellness appointments are currently booking out to mid June. In addition, if your pets will need any prescription refills during the time of our closure please make sure to take care of this before we close in July. We know this may seem far away, but we wanted to make sure to give everybody plenty a heads up as it will be here before we know it. It is that time of year! It’s time for the staff here at Clear Springs Veterinary to take some personal time to spend with family. We hope that all of you have the opportunity to do the same throughout the upcoming holiday season.

🚨 Important Update: Leptospirosis Now a Core Vaccine for ALL Dogs
The 2022 AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines have been updated to classify the leptospirosis vaccine as CORE for all dogs starting at 12 weeks of age – regardless of lifestyle, location, or breed.
Why the change?
🌆 ALL dogs are at risk—urban, suburban, and rural.
⚠️ Potentially fatal, even with treatment.
🔄 Zoonotic—it can spread from pets to humans.
🏢 Dogs in daycare and kennels also face exposure risks.

Given the year's swift pace, we are providing advance notice of our upcoming office closures. The office will be closed from October 8th through 12th. We will close at 2 pm on November 27th and then remain closed until December 16th for our annual staff vacation. Holiday closures will include December 24, 25, 31, and January 1. Should your pet need any assistance during these times we have listed some options below. Please keep these days in mind as they approach and insure you have plenty of your pets long term medications as well as anything they may need for fireworks during the new year. Also, make sure to call to ensure you get your appointments for your pets vaccines if you will need boarding during the holidays.
