We are bringing 5 commercial ewe lambs to Munfordville KY. They will be smaller than what you are used to seeing at a sale like this. I want to encourage you to look past solely their size and visit with me about what they will mature into. These lambs will have been born on grass, seen no feed, no shelter, no hoove trimmers. They are out of mother's who have proven themselves to work on unimproved pasture and not require deworming, or any pampering. These ewes will take 18 months or so to fully mature on OUR management system. They'll be sired by registered rams and should mature to 125 or so lbs. Guaranteed to thrive on a rotational grazing system.

Please, I encourage you to talk to us about these sheep in KY if you are interested in low input genetics. Attached are photos of our current ewe flock of 140 head. There will be examples of yearlings and two year olds to help you visualize what these lambs will develop into.

I guess we have Instagram. (What have your wives been hiding from you)? Give us a follow please!

Gentlemen, if you would like to score some brownie points with the wife or Mrs, order some of these from Tanya Chris Feagin Rocking TLC Farms. I ordered some for the wife and may or may not have got hooked myself. (It takes a real man to make a post like this)

Learning the hard way years ago, stocking rate and pasture management are pretty imparative. 60 days of rest and we have beautiful lespedezia and beggers lice for the ewes to enjoy. Sunday we weaned and we retained about 40 ewe lambs this year and sent remaining ram lambs and ewe lambs to feeder.

Best grass growing year that I can recall. We are retaining all ewe lambs again this year but if you'd like to try a handful of these hardy, truly grass fed, pasture born and raised, non pampered sheep, then you'll have a chance at the SCKA sale in Munfordville, KY. They'll never win the award for fastest growing or heaviest BW but as a whole, they are guaranteed to do more on less. These lambs take two years to reach maturity, their input is minimal and they do it outside.

If anyone is needing transport to or from the KHSI expo feel free to contact me. I can get a handful of animals back to central MO.
