We at VVH are aimed at providing high quality and affordable veterinary care to the large and small animals of southeastern Massachusetts. We strive to make ourselves available to the communities of Dartmouth, Westport, New Bedford, Acushnet, Fairhaven, and any other of the surrounding communities that may develop a need for our services. As we are just getting started, we do not offer advanced di

agnostics at this time, but can easily refer to another local veterinarian as per the needs of our patients. As Dr. Brito is a native she has a strong relationship with many other local veterinarians and this relationship means that referral is an effortless process when necessary. We look forward to developing a strong presence in our local community and providing an easily accessible local veterinarian for all your ambulatory needs.

We would like to introduce everyone to Latari 🥰 he is a 3 yr old black DSH male who is looking for his forever home. 🏡
He LOVES people and will spend hours curled up with you for pets and snuggles and is very comfortable around dogs.
However, Latari does have a chronic upper respiratory infection that he will have for the rest of his life. It causes him to always sound a bit congested and occasionally have a runny nose. That runny nose does occasionally require antibiotics. Due to the upper respiratory, Latari should be the only cat in the home or be with another cat with similar concerns.
PLEASE help us find Latari his home! He really wants to lay in a window and be pet ❤️

Due to our delayed return of power - VVH made the tough decision to be closed tomorrow Wednesday 2/25 as well. We will be returning for normal business hours on Thursday at 10 am.

Sadly, VVH is without power due to the storm. For everyone’s safety, we will be closed tomorrow Tuesday 2/24 to finish cleaning out from the storm and hopefully get power restored.

Due to the incoming storm, Del wants everyone to stay warm and safe ❤️ for that reason VVH will be closed on Monday February 23. We plan to reopen on Tuesday, but will monitor as the storm progresses to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

Please keep you and your pets safe during the storm. We plan to reopen for normal business on Tuesday - as long as our staff can get to work safely 🙂
