๐ PUPPY FOSTERS NEEDED๐

When puppies are surrendered to the rescue, they oftentimes need to get healthy, decompress, get vet care and get ready for adoption. A foster family will take them home and love them until theyโre ready to be adopted.
โ ๐๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐จ ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ?
Usually 1 week - 4 weeks depending on the situation. If you are only interested in fostering for shorter stays, you can let us know that and we will set you up with only short-term foster pups.

We have a great foster network and can help you find somebody to babysit your foster while youโre gone (or we have had some Fosterโs choose to take their foster pup with them).

Foster families provide day-to-day care in their homes (feeding, cleaning, administer meds, snuggle). We ask our fosters to transport pups for necessary vet care and to adoption events (though this is also something that other fosters sometimes help with). We ask foster families to get good pictures of the pups while in their care so we can find them homes. However, the rescue handles the adoption process, so you donโt have to be involved in that part if you donโt want to be.

Any puppies under 12 weeks old are required to go to foster homes in at least pairs if they have siblings. This is best for their socialization and behavioral development. Itโs actually easier for the foster as well since the pups keep each other entertained. However if youโre only wanting to foster single pups, you can foster any of the slightly older kids by themselves!

Foster families get first choice to adopt their pup as long as everything is going well!

Nothing! The rescue will provide you with all necessary supplies and we also pay for their vet care with our vet clinics. You just let us know what you need and come pick it up from us.
โ ๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ?
We require all pets in a fosterโs home to be UTD on basic vet care and spayed or neutered. We need foster families within about an hour drive of New Baltimore, MI (however if youโre outside of that and interested, reach out to a rescue closer to you!) You must be allowed to have animals where you live.
