We’re excited to share that Absolute Kennels LLC will be bringing our Paws for Safety dog‑safety and therapy‑dog education program to the YMCA summer program. 🐾

This partnership means a great deal to us.

Dogs play such an important role in our homes and our community — and helping kids understand them is essential. Every child deserves to feel confident, safe, and respectful around animals, and that starts with knowledge.

Throughout the program, kids will learn:

🐾 Dog body language
🐾 Bite‑prevention awareness
🐾 Safe ways to greet dogs
🐾 What to do if a loose dog approaches
🐾 The difference between pet dogs, therapy dogs, and service dogs
🐾 How to be calm, kind, and respectful around animals

We’ll also be joined by a certified therapy‑dog team through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, giving kids a safe, structured, and meaningful hands‑on learning experience.

At Absolute Kennels, we believe education is one of the strongest ways to build safer, more positive relationships between people and dogs. Sharing our passion and experience with the community we love is truly an honor.
