City of Hernando Animal Shelter We are a small shelter operated by the City of Hernando. We also protect the citizens of Hernando by enforcing animal related state laws and city ordinances.

Our goal is to improve and protect the lives of animals in our city by spaying/neutering, vaccinating, finding responsible homes for the strays who come into our care, and by enforcing animal protection laws. Our primary goal is to make Hernando the most animal friendly City in northern Mississippi.

Yesterday they made some lovely blankets and bagged up some yummy food for our fabulous kitty residents to bring to us here.
