We officially have a show under our belts! And had 2 people ask me if I'd sell Ro cuz of how well she is bred and how she looks. (Which to me is a huge compliment) We did in fact place 6th. But only by default due to others DQ'ed for knocking poles down. But I had my little helper Weston with me today, and I think he had a little fun.

All in All, I'm super impressed with how well she did (minus one event) and cannot wait to get more time and experience on her.

Another successful day of putting a saddle on Fiadh. This time we were able to get it cinched onto her. She did no bucking or rearing. It was very uneventful. Walked and trotted with it on and still no reaction.

Ro is 5yo and has never seen or stepped inside a trailer before, until today. It took some encouraging to get her to step up and I side, but once she did. She was calm and relaxed, we hung out I side the trailer while she ate her grain and some hay. So proud of her.

Fiadh decided running away from me out in the grass pasture was fun and games, when all I wanted to do was put her fly mask on. I had a feeling this would happen, being put out into a bigger pasture. So low and behold, she get to wear her drag rope for awhile to be caught easier. I'll remove it in about a week or so and see if she improves. If not...then she gets to wear it longer until she realizes its just easier to stand to be caught than running constantly. Gotta love gentling a wildy when they get a tiny taste of their old life.
