Hu***ng is a very misunderstood behavior! Read more below:

Hu***ng can be a normal canine behavior in certain situations, such as:

✅ During playtime or energetic activities
✅ When dogs greet each other or interact socially
✅ When a dog is excited or stimulated by a person's presence
✅ During intense training or exercise sessions
✅ When a dog detects a female in heat

In these contexts, brief hu***ng behavior is often considered a normal expression of canine behavior and social interaction.

Hu***ng becomes concerning when it:

‼️ Persists or recurs frequently
‼️ Is resistant to correction or redirection by a person
‼️ Escalates into aggression when the dog is stopped or interrupted

In such cases, the behavior can indicate underlying issues, such as frustration or anxiety, that need to be addressed through training, behavior modification, and possibly professional guidance.

The reason for this is twofold: firstly, German is my native language, and secondly, the language's crisp and distinct sounds make it well-suited for clear communication with dogs!
