Teaching humans to understand how dogs think, communicate and interact so that they can build a bond that lasts a lifetime. Work with dogs that have behavioral issues such as fear, anxiety, aggression, lunging or pulling on the leash as well as basic behavior for puppies or dogs that need socialization.

Let Us Sniff!

Not every walk or outing needs to be a mission.

Your dog doesn’t need to hurry. They need to SNIFF.
That stop-every-three-feet thing your dog does on walks?
It’s not them being difficult.
It’s them reading the local social media dog and wildlife posts.

A dog’s nose is an incredible tool for exploring and gathering information. Sniffing lowers stress gives mental stimulation, lets them investigate their environment, and can be genuinely satisfying for them.
So not every walk needs to be about distance, perfect leash skills, or getting from Point A to Point B.
Sometimes the best walk is:
🐾 Stop.
👃 Sniff.
🌱 Investigate.
🐕 Wander a little.
❤️ Enjoy being a dog.
Give your dog permission to take their time.
Your walk may be 20 minutes longer… but your dog might come home a whole lot happier. 😉

Pet parents....
I’ve been tossing around an idea and I want to know if there’s actually interest…

What if once a month, we got together with our dogs for some socializing, fun, games, learning and eventually even a few adventures?

What if we started a little “Dog Scout” group? We did this type of thing where I moved from and I'd love to do something like this here.🐾

Not a competition.

And definitely not a “whose dog is the best behaved?” kind of thing.

Not a traditional dog-training class ( although if you feel like you need more one on one help we could work something out)

Think Dog Scouts meets adventure club.

We could do things like:

🐾 Dog-friendly games & challenges

🐾 Confidence-building activities

🐾 Learning better communication with our dogs

🐾 Sniffing & enrichment activities

🐾 Group walks or exploring new places

🐾 Picnic-style meetups

🐾 Seasonal adventures

🐾 And maybe even some fun “Dog Scout” challenges along the way!

The goal would be to give dogs and their people a chance to learn, experience new things, build confidence, make friends and HAVE FUN together.

And yes… I think the humans should have fun too.
