MLM Gelbvieh & Epley Cattle market Gelbvieh and Balancer seed stock in South-Central Nebraska. The females are sold private treaty throughout the year.

MLM Gelbvieh has been breeding and selling Gelbvieh and Balancer seed stock since 1983. We continue to be in the top 10 in the nation with Dams of Merit and Dams of Distinction with the American Gelbvieh Association. We have also achieved the bronze level in the Gelbvieh Performance Program since it's inception in 2009. Our bulls are offered the first Monday of March each year at our open house.

For the past couple years we have been backgrounding our replacement heifers on corn stalks. From weaning time to around March 15th we make them find their own food unless we have adverse weather. At that point we supplement them with hay. We feel this increases longevity, fertility, and keeps them from becoming lazy, big framed cows.
