A HUGE THANK YOU to Saving Paws Animal Rescue for donating this excess food to Lovie Helping Cat Colonies. 😻💗🙏 This food was distributed to 6 different hard-working, loving & financially strapped cat colony caretakers. 😊 Thanks to these caretakers - their outdoor cats can be kept safe, well-fed, TNR'd....and out of already over flowing shelters & rescues. 💯 The food is a Godsend & they are all incredibly grateful beyond words! 🥰

This is a reminder that this page is NOT a pet food pantry. 🚫 As the name states - it helps cat colonies & their much deserved caretakers. 🐱🩷🫂 I often get donations for cats & I forward them to the caretakers I've met over the years. 🏃‍♀️ They are an under represented group of people who do amazing, hard, & loving work for A LOT of cats that goes unnoticed & unappreciated at times. 😿 HOWEVER - there are plenty of programs that exist to help pet owners that are struggling with their pets needs. I apologize GREATLY for the lack of activity on this page. 😞 The 1st thing I want to address is that Lovie passed away suddenly, peacefully & at home on 11/5/24 before we could get her to the vet. 😭Due to Lovie having congestive ❤️ failure - the vet believes her huge, loving, giving 🩷 simply gave out. 😢
I also fractured my 🦶 this Spring & was unable to put pressure on it for 3 mos. MANY thanks to my friends who helped me w/my pets. 🐱🐹 A HUGE SHOUT OUT to my clients w/ Pet Sitter Galore and More for adjusting our sits so I could sit & elevate my foot while still caring for your pets! 🥰 My family also had to deal with my dad having 3x bypass surgery this summer. ❤️‍🩹He is recovering REMARKABLY & cuz of that this is the BEST Christmas & New Year's EVER! 🎉🎊
Thru out this year - I have made contact w/even MORE cat colony caretakers!!! 🙀 HOW?? 🤔 By seeing cats on the side of the road - going door to door - and following up leads as to whose cat they could be!!! 🏃‍♀️
My New Year's Resolution is to start ACTIVELY getting my long timers, current & future cat colony caretakers the supplies they so desperately to their caretakes who I RESPECT & CARE about so much!!!! 💯
Plz remember I am not a 501c3. I don't have time to deal w/all the paperwork/etc. I can barely keep up w/business paperwork!!! 😹 But I will work hard to pick up donations & get them to where they need to be!! 👍

Lovie Helping Cat Colonies - a group Lovie & I, Nikki Chaganos, run in the Fox Valley, WI area, to collect donations for cat colony caretakers & their cats. 😺 Due to a recent death in my family - my dog Moonie - I have fallen behind on keeping up with the page & collecting donations. 😿 My sincerest apologies! 🙏 But Lovie & I are back at it!! 💯 This is all we have - a few small bags of cat food which we are really grateful for. 💓 If you get any money, gift cards, etc for the holidays - and by some slim chance you want to use them to help the wonderful & caring people who are so marvelous from helping a few homeless cats that come to their homes at night TO barns that house/feed MANY of them cuz of people dumping them - THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!!! 🥳 REMINDER - THIS IS NOT FOR PETS - this is for people helping outside cats with no homes....while we try to find them homes, get vet care, connect with other associations, etc. 🫶🫶 🥲 The shelters & rescues are overflowing. 🥺 They don't have room for anymore cats. 😫 Anything is welcome and appreciated. 😻 If you can't think of something - here is an Amazon Wish List to use or get ideas from - https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3BXW22LV05SWC/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_3

‼️HOME NEEDED/NEENAH, WI AREA‼️ - Meet 2 yr old spayed Daria! 👋 She's quite grateful to Denise Hoffman for rescuing her & her kittens from the dangers & elements from outside. ⛈🌨💨🦅🐺 Even more grateful for getting herself & babies to the vet for spay/neuter & vaccinations! 🧑‍⚕️The kittens are not ready for a home - but sweet Daria is! 🥳 Due to living outside / lack of human contact (something Denise is working on) Daria is a little shy. 🫣 Her new home will have to patient with her until she comes around - but as you can see from the pictures - she's a little ham! 🍖 Daria also has a heart murmur. 🥲 A HUGE reason she cannot be released back outside. 😿 This was discovered during her spay so a full work up was not done. 🩻 Daria's new home would be encouraged to bring her in for a complete wellness check & follow the vet's recommendations for treatment if treatment is indeed necessary. ❤️ She's a very special kitty & we know there is a very special home just waiting for her! 🏡 Thank you for taking the time to "meet" Daria! 😽 (If interested plz PM me (Nikki Chaganos) or text 920.574.8920)

Lovie Helping Cat Colonies donated MORE food on 11/16/23!!! 👏👏👏This was once a 30 cat colony which is now down to 8 thanks to a determined cat colony caretaker who was determined to get the number down by spaying/neutering. 💯 Neighbors also stepped in and adopted cats from the property! 🥰 Feeding 8 cats out of your own pocket is STILL expensive! 💵 Many thanks to the donors who provided hard & canned food to these grateful kitties & their caretaker! 💝

Lovie Helping Cat Colonies dropped off some MUCH needed donations including hard & soft cat food, heated bowl, & heating pad to this 10 cat colony. 😺 As you can see - the loving caretaker made a nice shelter which was built by 2x4's, insulated w/plastic, and covered w/tarps. 🛖 The inside has artificial grass great for outdoors. 👍👍 And we CANNOT ignore the insulated cat houses and other cozy amenities for the cats. 😻 This is a REMINDER that cat colony caretakers or a care taker of a 1 or 2 cats go out of their way to keep them safe!! 😍So - if you'd like to help these caretakers going out of their way for cats who would be left to fend for themselves - plz be feel free to help them out by donating if you can. 🥰
