Marty’s first dental appointment! He was amazing as usual. He turns 2 next week! I want to set him up for success as I start the training process. I won’t put a bit in his mouth without having his mouth inspected and floated if necessary. Marty had his wolf teeth removed. I will also have him xrayd to make sure his growth plates have closed before anyone gets on his back. I will most likely get him saddled and working on the ground and then xray him in 6 months. There’s no rush. He’s a little guy and needs to mature.

Best thing is to be proactive as much as possible. If you need the vet, be grateful there’s someone who spent years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to be able to help you.
