This can be an especially difficult time to find meaning or connection when you’re grieving. Your pain might not easily translate to all the joy and happiness those around you have in their hearts.

This holiday season, please be kind to yourself and others. Everyone around you: the people you’re waiting in line with, pass in traffic or on street, work with, encounter on social media, and see across the kitchen table — are all experiencing the collateral damage of living and carry around their own grief.

We’re all in this together.

Check in with your friends, family, neighbors and acquaintances. Their external “brave face” may not truly reflect their internal grief, sadness or struggle. This little act kindness can have a huge impact ♥️

We wish you peace, love and happiness this holiday season and beyond!

We want to thank all the veterinary staff who work during the holidays while most GPs are closed! Because of you, our patients can receive care when everything is definitely not fine!

PRO TIP: If you’re able, please CALL emergency hospitals BEFORE heading over. Due to high patient volume, decreased staffing, and available space, they may not be able to see your pet and might refer you to a different hospital!

And if your pet isn’t experiencing an emergency and you just want to thank these veterinary teams: drop off some holiday cheer and goodies. Jus sayin 😏🥰
