No April Fool!
24 years ago, I started a little business called Emerald Coast Critter Sitter.
3 years ago to the day, I changed the name to Cattitude Attitude to concentrate more on cats!
Why?
Well...I got old(er)!
:)
I needed to cut back on those (minimum) 12+ hour days that dog care requires.
I still have a small handful of "easy smaller" (mostly) pups I care for that belong to longtime clients, but overall now it's LOTS of kitties, and birds/reptiles/fish as always.
I needed to take care of ME for once.
When I decided to start a pet sitting business in 2001 full time, I had said I would do this for 25 years if I was successful at it. I'm not done yet!
Now 30 years seems ok as long as I feel well and can physically manage it. Cats are less physically demanding (as are reptiles and birds) and I can easily see myself at 70 with a cat in my lap purring away...what a great job, right?
After 1000s (no joke!) of animals in the last 24 years I say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH PET PEOPLE OF NAVARRE for the best job ever!
I've been looking through some files (spring organizing), and oh my! So many wonderful memories of all the creatures I've held dear to my heart over the years!
Speaking of work, time to go!

With Summer right around the corner, here's a list of busy times to think about so you are not too shocked when I fill up. And yes, I already have dates in my book running through 2026. I do not charge a deposit, so even if your dates may not be totally FIRM, tentative dates will still give me a heads-up when more requests come in.

CRUISE "SEASON", is unofficial, but Jan/Feb has traditionally been a busy time for me! I already have several people booked for
Jan/Feb 2026.

My year-round hours are 8am-4pm 7 days a week.

Thanksgiving Week for me has always been much more busy than Christmas.

A week or more before any given "busy time", I will re-connect with you to confirm. But of course, if your plans change before that time, contact me ASAP so I can free up space for anyone on my waiting list.

I always post "almost full" or "sold out" as soon as the above time periods are close.

This year, I celebrate being in business with my pet care services 24 years on April 1, 2025! First as Emerald Coast Critter Sitter and now as Cattitude Attitude since April 1, 2022. I am proud to state that several of my customers have been with me since my original launch in 2001! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Not everyone can says "I LOVE MY JOB!" but I sure do!
