Offered for your consideration are two Georgian Grande yearling colts by Whittling Ridge’s Whit's Whipperwill. Both are out of Saddlebred mares.
These colts represent a proven cross—both mares are on the property and can be viewed, along with several of their half-siblings who have gone on to excel as hunt horses, eventers, and dressage mounts. These crosses are known for their kind dispositions and consistently produce amateur-friendly mounts with excellent minds and movement.

Athletic, correct, and full of potential, these colts are ideal prospects for riders looking for future sport horses with the ability to excel in multiple disciplines.

🐎 Now Hiring Stable Help – No Experience Needed! 🐎

We’re looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our barn team! If you love horses and want hands-on experience, this could be a great fit.

Starting Positions (No Experience Required)
✔ On-the-job training provided�✔ Duties include:
Cleaning stalls
Feeding and watering horses
Handling horses
Hay, graining, and blanketing
General barn chores

🐴 Riding Lessons Available!�Employees may pay for lessons or apply earned work compensation toward riding lessons.

🕒 Schedule
AM feeding: approximately 3 hours
PM feeding: 2–3 hours depending on weather
Weekday and weekend shifts available
Weekend help especially needed

Primary Positions (Experience Required)
Ideal for someone with prior horse care experience.

✔ Must be able to:
Identify injured or sick horses and notify management immediately
Perform basic wound care
Administer oral medications
Manage full feeding schedules with attention to detail
🐎 Riding & Training Opportunities Available�Experienced equestrians who can positively contribute to a horse’s training may be eligible for additional compensation.

🌟Stone Tavern Stables in Natural Bridge, VA is seeking help immediately. 🌟

Tasks include feeding, cleaning, general barn care. Experience is not necessary and training will be provided. Reliability and honesty are the priority! While we primarily focus on fox hunting, eventing, and dressage, we are an open barn and are welcoming of individuals from all disciplines with safety and care of the horse being the upmost priority.

We had a great time at Rockbridge Hunt’s Fall Hunter Pace, and sale horse Toby made quite the splash for being such a gentleman! This big guy has so much to offer.

We had a great time at Eastern Region Andalusian Horse Club’s Virginia Open Dressage last week. Our GG’s were all well behaved and got a lot of attention! Terry and Laura showed Laura’s Cassius Clay, Annie showed her Tevvy, and Sarah took her Foxy. Good ponies and just a few smiles 😊
