It’s been a “CAPACITOR” kind of DAY for 7 fur-angels scheduled to leave Natchitoches at 7:30 AM this morning.
The capacitor on the air plane hanger door was bad and the door would not open. YIKES.
All the key players were already on way to airport and plans had to be put on hold until further notice.
No worries; it was just an hour delay. Natchitoches Regional Airport sprung into action.
The City of Natchitoches Electricians came and put a new one in and the door opened.
Stanley called the volunteers and we were on our way.
The rest of the story…… Tigger and six 8 lb pups arrived at the airport, said their good byes to the loyal team of volunteers who saved their lives.
Pups were loaded and you will hear in the video they said goodbye to us, too! Hahahahaha
Thank goodness Stanley was wearing earphones and logging into airport control.
The rest of the rest of the story…… Stanley landed in Kansas City, MO at 12:20. The pups were transferred to Wayside Waifs’ loving volunteers and are now acclimating in their fabulous shelter.
Stanley is on his way home happy as can be. Rescue mission #2 can be notched on his beautiful Diamond Star XLS if he approves.
Thank you Stanley and thank you to an amazing group of people who literally saved these lives. All of these furbabies would have perished if it wasn’t for the ground crew.
