Here at the Double C Ranch we trail horses, raise cattle, and do our best to both work and play hard everyday.

We love agriculture and the western way of life and do all we can to preserve a little of it and share it all we can.

Had a fun time with Mary Collins at her final Natchez Garden Club Cotillion. For 6 weeks she has been learning how not to act like me😂. Today was the final class so the parents came and we spent the class learning dances.

Thank you Paige Whittington for the pics. MC favorite part was being with all her friends from school.

Today’s group from American Cruise Lines was small in numbers, but big on fun!! We had a great time with a great group of folks!!

Guest joined us from Huntington Beach, CA; Naples, FL; Buffalo, NY; Long Island, NY; Huntsville, AL; and Berlin, Germany.

When a couple from Northern Ireland brings their family to America to marry in New Orleans and looks for a place to ride horses, learn to rope and play in the great outdoors we were honored they choose us!!

Y’all were so much fun and we had a great time spending the day with y’all! Hoping you made memories you’re not soon to forget! Congratulations and wishing y’all a lifetime of adventures together!

Summer here at the Double C Ranch has already been crazy busy, but we are making time for some great news!

We are offering a limited number of spots for horseback riding lessons. They will start the week after the Fourth of July and run for four weeks. These will be morning sessions. You can choose one or two days a week.

We will group riders together by age and experience level. These lessons are designed for true beginners through intermediate levels. Our goal is to make sure you children learn the basics and start out on the right foot.

We may also do a lesson for barrels and poles that offers practice time and a short trail ride with each lesson for riders with a little more experience. We could either pair riders with one of our horses or you could bring your own.

We had a great time helping the Wallace family celebrate a big birthday!! It’s been hot and dry for October, but the mornings have been perfecting for horseback riding!!

The weather this week has been gorgeous and perfect for trail rides! We had a great ride with a family from Iuka, Mississippi on Thursday. It’s always a fun time when a family hits the trails together!!
