With profound sorrow and unrelenting tears, our beloved What's It All About Alfie, affectionately known as Alfie, passed away yesterday at 2:27 PM, crossing the rainbow bridge. Following a private cremation, his remains were brought home last night to rest alongside our other cherished furbabies in the secretary, where they will all eventually be laid to rest together in our casket, uniting us for eternity.
Alfie's passing also marks the end of an era, as he was the last of the Coton De Tulears breed we have adored for 25 years, preceded by Beemer and Lexus. Our hearts are devastated, and we have been striving to convey the severity of Alfie's illness to Ollie and Maxx, with Ollie visibly seeking his companion.
Notably, the prolonged drought has given way to incessant rain since Alfie's departure, mirroring our tears, perhaps symbolizing God's empathy for our profound love for our furry companions.
Special thanks to the excellent, knowledgeable and caring staff at Fairfield Glade veterinarian hospital and Happy Trails Pet crematory.
